Kristie Martin, born and raised in Billings, MT, is a wife and mother of 2 beautiful kids. She holds a masters degree in literacy education and is currently a literacy and curriculum specialist for School District #2 here in Billings. Kristie is committed to continual learning, taking informed risks and learning from the results in all aspects of her life. Aside from school, her passion has always remained in the arts. Kristie grew up dancing here in Billings and studied dance at the University of Montana in Missoula. She also spent many years perfecting technique through various workshops around the country and summer studies in Los Angeles, CA. Kristie loves being a part of the arts community in Billings and has worked with Nova (Venture) Theater, The Montana Music Institute, the Skyview High Skylights Show Choir and she currently teaches jazz at The School of Classical Ballet and CDS The Edge Performing Arts Center. She also currently dances with Terpsichore Dance Company. She can’t wait to pass on the love and joy of dance to her children as she watches them grow to love music and art.
